‘HOME FOR CHRISTMAS’

3 DECEMBER 2009, 7.30 PM, LECTURE THEATRE

The History Department are hosting the play ‘Home for Christmas’ – this is a follow up to ‘Silent Night’ which we held last year and was a complete sell-out.  Chester’s leading professional theatre company are performing a humorous and heart-warming glimpse into a Christmas of the early 1940s.  Matt Baker is the musical director – you probably saw him on TV with his ‘Last Choir Standing’ and some of you have been involved with Matt in the Chester Mystery Plays – he is one of our many talented past students.

The play will be based on the real stories of Cheshire people who lived through the 1940s.

Many of you came with your families last Christmas and it’s a great way to start the festive month of December.

Tickets are available from Mrs Geary and Mrs Hull.
