Footsteps
On Wednesday 6th May, Bishops’ Blue Coat High School opened its doors to all prospective Year 7 pupils and their families to a ‘Footsteps’ event in the evening. It was an informal opportunity to meet with and worship with our school community.

There were videos to watch and present year 7 pupils to listen to; all focused on that move from Primary to High School in September.
The children and families joined in with activities specially arranged for them in a range of departments before returning to the Assembly Hall for a celebration of worship.

Our School Chaplain led us in prayer and the pupil worship band played so fast we were breathless keeping up! We learnt to sign to support our worship and a bible account with sound effects raised the roof.

The noise and laughter made it a wonderful welcome to our distinctive celebration praise.

We are a community takes worship seriously but does not believe it must be serious.
